Synopsis
A heart-meltingly romantic
comedy set in a world of salsa, science and stupendous madness, Salsa
con Fusion is the story of how Umbil met Paprika.
Umbil is
an Australian science wiz, studying the great "Destiny Question"
under the senile tutelage of Professor Gus Bonito.
Paprika is the sexiest, sassiest Latino dancer in London, and
Gus's niece.
Brought together by the
long arm of Destiny (or of Gus, depending on which way you look
at it), Umbil knows instantly that the rest of his life is to be
spent with Paprika. As far as she’s concerned, hers belongs
to Chucho "God's gift to women" Venezuela.
A self-styled Cassanova,
Chucho has duped Paprika into believing that her true destiny
lies with him.
So with the aid of a
hairless hamster, a furry fish, and a liberating naivety, Umbil
sets out to burst Chucho's bubble...
Salsa con Fusion is a film
for anyone with a romantic bone in their body who yearns for
something extravagantly different.
