Almost immediately after, we began production on FOSTER, Newman's second collaboration with Nayar. Foster stars multiple award winning actress Toni Collette (Muriel's Wedding, About A Boy), and Welsh actor Ioan Gruffudd (Fantastic Four, Titanic). The film co-stars Richard E Grant (Witnail and I), Anne Reid (The Mother) and Oscar winner Hayley Mills (Pollyanna, The Parent Trap)

While our emphasis has always been feature film production, we have also produced for television and were commissioned to make three films for the government centering on drugs awareness, now used extensively to train the trainers.

Serendipity Films was set up in 1998 by filmmaker Jonathan Newman to produce the feature film "Being Considered".

This past year we made two feature films. "Swinging with the Finkels" stars Martin Freeman, Mandy Moore, Jerry Stiller, Jonathan Silverman, and Melissa George. Finkels is about a bored couple who decide to spice up their marriage by swinging. Finkels was written and directed by Jonathan Newman and produced by Deepak Nayar (Bend it Like Beckham, Buena Vista Social Club).
